I am working with elemental helpers in my artwork. By printing artwork and hanging it on a physical wall, I am grounding this energy into the 3D world.
Walls as Sacred Space
In spiritual practices, walls define a sanctuary. Partially covering the walls means one is actively anchoring a portal or a grid of elemental protection.
In the above painting made through watercolors and digital paint, the animal helpers that came through represent a specific layering of grounding, protection and anchoring.
The spiritual medicine of the helpers:
Badger – fierce determination, power to stand your ground.
Porcupine – offers gentle yet fierce boundary protection.
Wolf acts as guardian of the space bringing instinct, sharp intuition and ability to maintain energetic boundaries of your room, keeping the anchored energy pure.
Turtle – deep earth grounding, stability that is unshakable.
Platypus – is a symbol for filtering ethereal energy to safely manifest in the physical world. Also, when this animal spirit comes to me I have known to withdraw, be very still and quiet.
